First bin is going out!

Excited to say that our first completed bin prototype, made of plywood, is going out for testing this week. The customer will be completing information before, during and after the trial about their waste and recycling. This, combined with feedback for how they used the bin and what they kept in each section will help us to scope out functions for the bin in future designs and materials testing.

We’re currently building another plywood bin (large size for 3+ person household) and a smaller one from recycled plastic suitable for 1-3 person household. We’d love to hear from you even if you just want to talk bins, because hey, who doesn’t have to touch a bin everyday and you like me, might want a closer personal relationship with your bin!
